ROAM Africa Jobs Introduces Employer Referral Programs

ROAM Africa Jobs, the Jobs arm of Ringier One Africa Media, has announced its Employer Referral Program, a new feature on all its job listings platforms, which allows existing customers to refer their friends, family and colleagues,  in a new continent-wide campaign titled, #ReferandEarn.

The Employer Referral Program allows existing employers to refer counterparts in their network. Upon activation of their accounts, new employers earn credits which can be used towards the skills assessment tool which  tests for core competencies and hard skills required for a specific role. These tests are industry-specific and are curated by experts for different job functions to test a candidate’s proficiency. This tool usually costs US $150, however with the Employer Referral Program, new customers get it for free while the existing ones earn credits which can be used for the assessment tool when a referee makes their first purchase on the platform.

Commenting on the new campaign, Managing Director ROAM Africa Jobs, Hilda Kabushega Kragha, stated: “Our customers in Uganda, Kenya, Ghana and Nigeria trust our different platforms in ensuring that their recruitment needs are met. Their testimonials have helped reach new customers who might be sceptics. We believe that it is time to reward them by introducing the #ReferandEarn campaign where they can share their positive experiences with other employers, introduce them to a new system of recruitment while earning bonuses.”

The #ReferandEarn campaign is targeted at existing employers on the BrighterMonday Kenya, BrighterMonday Uganda, Jobberman Nigeria and Jobberman Ghana platforms who refer new customers who have not previously used the platform.
