BrighterMonday Kenya partnered with SOS Children’s Village Nairobi, Kenya for a CSR Project in a programme called “The Next Economy” to provide training for 47 youth on employability skills to help the youth gain relevant skills necessary to join work life.

The training aimed at filling a gap on basic soft skills and interview skills required by employers but missing more so in new graduates. The training encompassed; Personal Reflection, My Kind of Job, Let’s find out more about jobs, Job search, Making a good impression at the workplace, Communication skills, CV writing, Job interviews, Personal and time management among others.

BrighterMonday through a CSR project stepped in to give the young adults an opportunity to enhance their ’employability’ through training. This training was meant to help the participants understand the expectations of employers in both the recruitment process and as new employees in the workplace.

The workshop ended with a grand awards ceremony that was graced by ROAM’s Group Head of HR Carolyne Mwaura as the Chief guest who also appended her signature on their certificates.
